Group lessons require a minimum of 4 surfers and have a maximum of 6 students per instructor. If you’re on your own, you can ask to join an existing class. All surfing gear is provided.
Book your own personal coach. This option is perfect for young kids, nervous beginners or intermediate surfers wanting to improve their surfing skills.
We have 2 beaches to coach you at in Foz. The first and most popular is Praia da Rapadoira. Crystal clear waters in a protected cove just west of the Masma river mouth. When the swell is too small to surf here, we head to the east side of the river to Praia de Coto.
Foz in the Galician region in Spain, was originally a fishing/whaling community but tourism has since taken over as the primary source of income for this town. For this reason, if you’re planning to surf in Foz during the busier holiday periods, please try to contact us to book in advance.
Tourist Tip: Check out “The Basilica of San Martiño de Mondoñedo” – it is considered to be the oldest cathedral in Spain.
